Ooh yes, please!
Admittedly, it might be hard to get Isabel to see this movie, since she doesn't always get along well with Tim Burton, and she didn't like Tom Petty's video from the mid-Eighties.
So ... Johnny Depp, yes, especially when he's a pirate, but Tim Burton, maybe not. And the trailers for Corpse Bride and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory didn't help much.

Hmmm, I'm not sure whether I like that Tom Petty video either. It seems sort of derivative and neither as funny nor as dangerous as it might be. Seems derivative of stuff like the Labyrinth (dates?) or Dylan videos. But Petty is cute as the Mad Hatter.
Course this is not my favorite Petty song either.
I have to admit, I'm not exactly fond of that video, either. And I'm not sure how I feel about what I assume will be a live action film of any of the Alice stuff. The books are brilliant, but, like Tolkien's work, it's largely because of the language, and I don't think that will translate too well into another form. Granted, if this movie does make it out into theaters, I'm likely to go see it. But I don't trust people with much anymore, especially not things (like Dr. Who, or The Hitchhiker's Guide) have already been done.
Then again, the only film version of Wonderland I can think of is that nauseating Disney cartoon, so surely they can do better than that. (As long as they leave "White Rabbit" out of it.)
